The “International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Nuclear Power”, organized by the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) and co-hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and the Shanghai Municipal Nuclear Power Office, was successfully held in Shanghai from 25 to 26 September.

The symposium focused on the digital-intelligence transformation of the nuclear power industry, facilitating in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge AI applications in areas including nuclear safety, operation and maintenance, standardization, and innovation. The event brought together more than 200 experts and representatives from across the industry.

Guo Limin, Secretary General of CNEA, and Han Dadong, Second-Rank Inspector of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, attended the opening ceremony and delivered addresses.
